Products listed as "Preserved" are preserved in a glycerin solution and dyed in the process. Though not a solve all, this process allows products to last longer, remain pliable and less brittle unlike "Dried Products." Being an ultra fine plant, care still needs to be taken in the care and handling of this product, a characteristic of this fern is the long tips can curl a little, usually not an issue but they can be trimmed as needed without any adverse affects, they can also change color slightly depending on temperature and humidity level, I have found this to be more of a positive rather than a negative (I usually trim them back during the tree making process)

Color is not guaranteed and can change with product being exposed to sunlight both direct and reflective, fern can be lightly airbrushed to change or alter color.
